+ Gerry Finch 1996

Gerry Finch is known world wide for his manuals and classes on LOCK PICKING, SERVICING INTERCHANGEABLE CORE CYLINDERS, AND MASTERKEYING. Gerry has taught classes nationwide, including Alaska and Hawaii as well as in Japan and Ireland. He is the recipient of the LOCKSMITH LEDGERS HALL OF FAME AWARD, The California Locksmith Association's GOLDEN KEY AWARD, ASSOCIATED LOCKSMITHS OF AMERICA PRESIDENT'S AWARD, the LEE ROGNON AWARD, GERALD CONNELLY PIONEER AWARD and the PHILADELPHIA AWARD. He was a charter member of the A.L.O.A. sponsored National Task Group for Certified Training programs, Master Keying Study Group. Gerry a life long Locksmith retired from the UNITED STATES AIR FORCE in 1964. At the time of his retirement he was on detached duty to the U.S. Army Technical Intelligence Center at Fort Hollabird, Maryland where he was a Instructor in the Defense Against Methods of Entry (D.A.M.E.) Course.

After retirement he was a Technical Consultant with the HORI LOCK COMPANY in Tokyo, Japan. He has been General Manager of Keying and Security for the then WEISER-FALCON LOCK CO. and Product Design Manager with LAB SECURITY where he was the designer of several lock servicing tools and the LAB Stainless Steel Lock Picks. Gerry also has a Lifetime Full Time California Teaching Credential. Gerry retired again in 1996 after 50 plus years in the Locksmith Industry. He now resides in "SUNNY" California.
