
MEMBERSHIP CLASSIFICATIONS
ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP
Any individual of good character, at least twenty one years of age, who
is lawfully engaged in the servicing of locks and/or safes for a period of no less than
two years. You must have either a P.R.P. rating in A.L.O.A., or have five acceptable trade
related certificates of training, or pass a G.P.L.A. practical test.
APPRENTICE MEMBER
Any individual of good character, at least eighteen years of age, who
is a graduate of an accredited locksmith school, or is employed by a security service
company.
ASSOCIATE MEMBER
Any individual of good character, at least twenty one years of age, who
is employed as a representative of a company engaged in supplying or manufacturing of
security hardware.
TO APPLY FOR MEMBERSHIP
You must first attend two G.P.L.A. membership meetings as a sponsored
quest.
You must qualify for one of the membership classifications listed above.
A member in good standing must be willing to sign your application as a sponsor.
After complying with the above requirements, send your signed application,
certification, and initiation fee of NINETY FIVE DOLLARS to:
