Description:

Every safe technician has drilled a combination safe lock in the wrong place at least once in their career. Knowing how to open the safe without drilling another hole is one of the skills that sets a seasoned technician apart from the competition! In this hands-on class, students will learn how to open a combination lock when they miss their intended target or drill the lock for the wrong handing. Students will also receive instruction on the proper way to scope a change key hole to open a safe without drilling through the door, thus avoiding hardplate and other barriers. Students must have a full understanding of how combination safe locks operate. Students should bring paper and pencils.

A GPLA certificate suitable for framing will be awarded to each student.
